Chief Seller Officer
Galgo is a Series B fintech and marketplace that enables motorcycle ownership across Mexico, Colombia, and Chile through embedded finance tailored to the underbanked and a unique dealer network. We combine inventory distribution with credit solutions to unlock mobility and income opportunities for our customers. Today, Mexico and Colombia represent 90% of our revenue and are already profitable. Over the next 24 months, we aim to triple our size, launch new solutions for both customers and sellers, expand into Brazil and achieve USD 10 million + in annual profits. Our capital requirements are 100% covered for the next 36 months and a new capital increase might not be necessary as the company can finance itself with its own cash flow by 2027
Role Summary
The Chief Seller Officer will be responsible for driving the development of our Seller Business Unit, increasing our share of wallet and margin per seller by deploying new solutions and increasing engagement to positivly impact our Galgo.com business. This role oversees the strategy, product roadmap and execution, revenue management frameworks for seller pricing, and the rollout of global assets such as CRM and sales playbooks to improve performance. While day-to-day operations of KAMs and Seller Success Executives are managed directly and solely by the Country Managers (who also report to the CEO), the Chief Seller Officer ensures alignment, growth, and consistency across geographies with its own levers, impacting it’s own P&L.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow Galgo Sellers and grow total profits and the engagement of Sellers for Galgo.com. In particular:
- Define and execute the global Galgo Seller strategy with input from C-Level and inserted into the Galgo Strategy
- Evaluate and scale new businesses for Sellers
- Lead the Seller Digital Product team to deliver the seller value proposition and expand offerings (products, services) across all geographies
- Design and oversee revenue management frameworks and pricing structures, ensuring local flexibility within a global mechanism
- Manage global relationships with major brands and distributors to support dealer growth and local impact
- Lead the deployment and continuous evolution of CRM and Back Office systems
- Provide analytical support to countries to improve product penetration and share of wallet
Requirements
Must-have:
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking skillsProven commercial and relationship-building capabilities with global brands
- 7+ years of professional experience, with mandatory exposure to technology; consulting experience from top tier firm is a plus
- MBA from a top global university is a plus
Nice-to-have:
- Direct experience with digital products
- Background in managing seller or partner relationships
